Lewa villagers in the interior of Nadarivatu will be meeting with Fiji Electricity officials, Native Land Trust board and the investigating team led by Colonel Apakuki Kurusiga today, regarding the leasing of the land for the mini hydro power dam by FEA.
Lewa landowners have complained to the investigating team that the assessment report and the lease arrangement and compensation carried out by NLTB will not benefit the landowners.
The landowners are hoping that the discussion today will be fruitful.
