The stages are set for the two semi final clashes.

In the first semi final this evening, the Queensland Reds are going in as favourite against the Auckland Blues with a home ground advantage and dynamic form.

However experience heavily favours the Blues - who boast an impressive pack with 201 Test caps between them while the Reds have only 45 Tests to their name.

A new record Australian Super Rugby attendance is expected at Suncorp Stadium.

Meanwhile Crusaders flyhalf, Dan Carter is happy with the underdogs tag placed on his team for tomorrow's second semi final match with the Stormers.

The Stormers, however, have not played well at Newlands this year, and can expect a large portion of the crowd tomorrow to be in the Crusaders' corner, as is the norm in these parts.

Losses to the Reds, Crusaders and Bulls at home have put a big question mark on the temperament of the Stormers in big games.

The Blues takes on the Reds tonight at 9:40pm and on Sunday morning at 3.05 the Stormers host the Crusaders.
