Shortage of staff has forced the closure of the outpatient services at the CWM Hospital’s Pediatrics Units from Monday until further notice.
Health Ministry media liaison officer Iliesa Tora said the services will remain terminated until such time when staffing numbers are increased.
Only emergency or special cases will be serviced by the CWM Hospital’s Pediatric Unit and according to Tora, the Raiwaqa, Makoi and Valelevu health centers will be operating on extended hours to carter for the needs of the public.
