Saint John Ambulance has ceased all operations as off this morning as the organisation has run out of money to pay outstanding fuel bills.

A concerned citizen who wanted to use the St. John ambulances this morning to take his sick mother to the clinic told Fijivillage that he was informed that they cannot provide any services.

According to General Secretary of St. John Ambulance Taniela Colamoto, they have a $2000 outstanding fuel bill and the Ministry of Health is yet to release further funding. He said until such time, all operations have been suspended.
