The interim Health Minister has this morning opened the newly $50,000 refurbished hospital kitchen at Saint Giles Psychiatric Hospital which took almost three months to finish by the Suva Rotaract Club.
Dr Jiko Luveni along with senior health officials thanked the club for their work and contribution to the Hospital.
Meanwhile, Suva Rotaract Club President Roshika Deo said that the work which began in mid May was mainly focused on the Kitchen area and they had removed the old wooden store room and redesigned and purchased new kitchen appliances.
It is believed that the Club will now also look at other projects to undertake.
