Saint Agnes Primary School is gearing up to celebrate it's 50th Anniversary next weekend.

Jubilee Committee Chairperson Thomas O'Brien said the school started in the 1960's by the Columbian priests and nuns of the daughters of Compassion when it was initially based at the old Saint Agnes church and then later moved to its current site in Nabua with only four classrooms.

He said the school which now has expanded in size and has more than 750 students will be holding their Jubilee celebrations and the chief guest is the school's first principal.
