The Digicel Fiji 7s team will use the Sri Lanka 7s in the last week of November as their last build up game before the opening leg of the IRB 7s in Dubai in the first week of December.
Manager Sale Sorovaki has confirmed that unlike the past, the Fiji 7s team will play together in most local tournaments to try and build their combination before they leave the country.
Sorovaki said Coach Iliesa Tanivula wants to do better than last year where Fiji lost 19-nil to New Zealand in the Dubai 7s semifinal.
This afternoon after the trials, the training squad will be reduced from 32 to 20 players to prepare for the Dubai and South Africa 7's.
The Dubai 7's will kick off on the 4th of December.
