The squatters at Kilikali Settlement have been given a small consolation before their relocation, that is, spending Christmas and New Years where they are currently located.
Interim Minister for Social Welfare Adi Laufitu Malani has confirmed that after the meeting last night held with all the Kilikali Squatters and stakeholders, at the St John Bosco School in Nasinu, it has been decided that they will have to move by January 15th next year.
However, Malani said that they still have to check their lists for exact details of the families as it seems that the numbers increase every time.
