The Springboks have recalled halfback Fourie du Preez for the Rugby Championship Test against Argentina this Saturday in Soweto.
The Japan based veteran last played for the Springboks in an 11-9 defeat by Australia in the 2011 Rugby World Cup quarterfinals.
Du Preez will contest the halfback slot with France based Jano Vermaak and Ruan Pienaar from Irish province side Ulster.
The Springboks will host Argentina at 1am Sunday while the Wallabies face the All Blacks at 10pm this Saturday.
