The Fiji Sports Council is now working tirelessly to prepare the pitch for the IDC Super Premier Division games this afternoon.

Fijivillage can confirm that workers are now using water pumps to drain the excess rain water from the pitch and are also putting plenty sand on the ground.

This is after heavy rainfall yesterday saw the postponement of pool games today.

This afternoon at the first game will start at 3pm between Nadroga and Suva while the Ba and Rewa game will commence at 4.30pm.

You can hear live commentaries of both these games on our sister radio station Radio Sargam.

Meanwhile, Fiji FA has decided that today’s pool game will be played tomorrow while the last round of matches is now schedule for Monday.

The semifinal and final is likely to be held next weekend with the venue yet to be confirmed.
