Sporting Bodies in the Country received only $450,000 in the National Budget that was announced by the Interim Minister for Finance, Mahendra Chaudhry.
FASANOC were the big winners, receiving $250,000 for next year's Olympic in Beijing although they requested for $600,000.
Speaking to Village sports, FASANOC President, Vidya Lakhan was not at all satisfied with the announcement.
Fiji Rugby Union and Fiji Rugby League failed to get any grant from the Interim Government, even though FRU asked for $400,000 for next year's Rugby World Cup while Fiji Rugby League were seeking half-million dollars for the Rugby League World Cup.
Meanwhile, Chaudhry also allocated $200,000 for the development of sports facilities in rural areas.
