The Fiji Sports Commission will prepare a presentation to present to the government to get some assistance to host two rugby league world cup matches in Fiji in 2017.
Chairman of the Commission Peter Mazey says they have already received advices from the Rugby League World Cup organizers on how to host rugby league.
Mazey says once they have the budget they will do a proper submission to the Minister for Youth and Sports.
He says to date they have not been given the date or any other information about the tournament.
Meanwhile, there are likely to be 28 games at the 2017 World Rugby League Cup.
