Bulls captain Pierre Spies praised his team after they beat the Cheetahs 30  23 and took control of the South African Super Rugby conference.

The Bulls moved back up to second place in the overall standings but now have an eight point lead over the Cheetahs in the South African Conference.

Looking at the points table the Chiefs is still leading with 56, the Bulls and Brumbies at second place with 54, the Reds is at third place with 50 while the Cheetahs and the Crusaders is at fourth place with 46 points.

Meanwhile the Brumbies will face the Rebels at 9.40pm this Friday while the Force will take on the Waratahs at 6.05pm Saturday.

The Reds is on bye this week while the Blues, Bulls, Cheetahs, Chiefs, Crusaders, Highlanders, Hurricanes, Kings, Sharks and Stormers are not playing.
