The availability of Brumbies winger, Henry Speight to don the white jersey at the Rugby World Cup depends on talks between his manager and the Fiji Rugby Union.

Fijivillage Sports has been reliably informed that there are certain clauses in his contract that can rule him out and that is being looked at very carefully at the moment.

Assistant coaches, Shannon Fraser and Greg Mumm are both in Australia trying to get confirmation on his availability along with Jerry Yanuyanutawa.

Speight will return from a six week injury break to be in the Brumbies reserve bench for this week's game against the Lions.

The Brumbies, along with the other four Australian Super Rugby teams, are permitted to sign two international development players, who will eventually be eligible to play for the Wallabies.
