A specialist team has been assembled to head to the Western Division this morning to assess and fix damages to pumping stations.
The team will be leaving early this morning so that water is restored as soon as possible.
Ministry Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said the team has been on standby since last night to be able to restore water supply to those living in Rakiraki, Nadi, Tavua, Ba and Lautoka.
The Ministry had earlier revealed that 90% of the residents living in the West were without water supply as debris had blocked and damaged their main water pipelines.
