The Digicel Cup rugby final this Saturday is building up to be a great one as the Special Administrators of Sigatoka and Suva have a bet in place.

Digicel Fiji revealed that Sigatoka Town Special Administrator Jay Whyte put forward a bet to his Suva City counterpart Chandu Umaria, who graciously accepted the challenge.

The winner of Saturday's Digicel Cup final will see the opposing Special Administrator wear the champion's jersey or shirt to work next Monday.

Whyte said he feels that another exciting way to build interest to the final would be to put something on the line and that is to challenge his counterpart in Suva to this bet.

Whyte added that he is very confident that Nadroga will destroy the Suva team and leave him to sit back and watch Umaria wear the beautiful black and white Nadroga jersey to work on Monday.

Meanwhile, Chandu Umaria said Suva will rise to the occasion and give Nadroga a good-go in the final at Lawaqa Park and he is confident the Digicel Cup will be travelling to the capital city on Saturday afternoon.

Umaria also said the Nadroga Rugby Union should polish the Digicel Cup before it travels to Suva on Saturday while Whyte can go and get a beautiful blue Suva jersey for himself and he will pay for it because Whyte will surely wear it next Monday.

Nadroga will host Suva at Lawaqa Park at 3pm Saturday and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station VITI FM.

The winner will receive $17,000 while the runner-up gets $5,000.
