Defending champions of Euro 2012 Spain is bracing for its toughest challenge when the World Champion faces Portugal in the semifinals on Thursday.
Spain’s midfielder Xabi Alonso who scored both the goals against France in the quarterfinals said both the teams have big stars and now all eyes will be on them to rise up to the challenge.
Spain will play Portugal at 6.45am on Thursday.
In the second semifinal, Germany will take on Italy at 6.45am on Friday.
