The Springbok 7s squad has labeled the New Zealand 7s next week as the toughest tournament on the IRB circuit calendar.

The South Africans, champions two season ago, are currently in 5th place after winning the Plate final in Dubai and George in December last year.

Coach Paul Treu, said this is the toughest assignment yet for his young team adding that they will have to play much better than they did in Dubai and George.

According to Treu, the New Zealand home support and the encouragement the fans give to the likes of Samoa, Fiji and Tonga would mean a lot more is needed from his young side.

South Africa is in the same Pool as Fiji, France and Canada in the New Zealand 7s which kicks off next Friday.
