South Africa wants to end season on a high
The Paul Treu coached side has failed to reach a Cup semi final throughout the Series, and have only won one of the six Plate finals they have competed in.
They will face Fiji, Canada and France in the pool stages at Twickenham.
Fiji have had a slight advantage over South Africa this year, beating them five times in their six encounters and the South African Sevens team will want to avenge those results.
Treu said with the inclusion of the likes of Neil Powell, Fabian Juries and Mzwandile Stick, they will be a team to watch in London.
Meanwhile, Digicel Fiji Sevens coach Iliesa Tanivula is aware of the strength in the South African side, saying any team coming into a IRB Sevens tournament should not be taken lightly.
Fiji will take on Canada at 10.14pm on Saturday in their opening pool game in the England Sevens.
