Hong Kong Sevens is still an unfinished business for South Africa.
South Africa has never won in Hong Kong since the tournament started in 1976.
For coach Paul Treu the fact that they have not won sevens rugby holy grail has been haunting him since he first set foot at Happy Valley 10 years ago as a player.
Treu added they should not forget the high flying New Zealand and Fiji who look the most promising teams so far.
Meanwhile the Digicel Fiji Sevens team will have the captains run at 3pm Fiji time today after which the run on team for the first pool match against Scotland will be named.
Fiji will take on Scotland at 9:06pm tomorrow before tackling France at 5:32pm and Australia at 10:46pm on Saturday.
