The South African netball team is hoping to have a warm-up match with the Fiji team as they prepare for the World Netball Championships that kicks-off this weekend.

Head coach Elize Kotze said they want to test out the flair that our girls have and also get a taste of how the girls from the Pacific play, especially Fiji and Samoa.

Meanwhile, Fiji team manager, Asenaca Waqanivavalagi said they are also liaising for some warm-up matches to gauge the team’s performance.

However, that will be up to the co-coaches to decide.

Fiji’s first pool game is against the defending champions New Zealand on Monday next week at 7:30pm.
