The failure of the Digicel Fiji 7s team to do well in the opening leg of the IRB 7s series is now a challenge for the current crop of players to try to stamp their mark in the Dubai and George 7s.
As the 32 players marched into camp today in Suva, manager Sale Sorovaki said they had planned to prepare this early to allow coach Iliesa Tanivula to mould a team that can end their 9 year losing streak in Dubai.
Sorovaki said they have faith in these upcoming players to do well in the IRB 7s series.
The likes of seasonal 7s players like Pio Tuwai, Emosi Vucago, Joeli Lutumailagi, Watisoni Votu, Nasoni Roko and Randell Kamea are in the team.
Also making their presence felt in the camp are the key members of the Nadroga team in the likes of Miti Nacagilevu, Joeli Lotawa and Nemani Nagusa.
The first leg of the IRB 7's series in Dubai will be held on the 4th and 5th of December.
