Sonny Bill Williams has done it again.

The All Blacks midfielder has given his Rugby World Cup winner's medal to a young boy at Twickenham.

Williams act of compassion followed after a security guard tackled young fan Charlie Lines as he tried to go onto the field in search of a signature.

Williams says that he was walking around doing a lap of honour with the boys and a young boy came running out and got tackled by the security guard.

He says that the young boy would have been eight or seven and adds that it will be a night that the young boy hopefully remembers.

All Blacks star Sonny Bill Williams has revealed that he would rather let a 15-year-old have his Rugby World Cup medal rather than it be hanging on his wall.

15-year-old Charlie Lines was caught and tackled by security guards running on the field as celebrating All Blacks mingled, gaining the sympathy of Williams who was seen putting his gold medal around Charlie's neck shortly after.

Sonny Bill Williams says he felt sorry for the 15-year-old.

Meanwhile, the world’s best rugby coach has revealed he is likely to step down from the All Blacks in two years.

Steve Hansen openly discussed why he is unlikely to seek reappointment after the British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand in 2017 and why he turned down a four‑year contract extension earlier this year.

Hansen feels it will benefit the team, and he would like to spend more time with his family.

After a record that stands at three losses from 54 tests over the past four years, New Zealand Rugby boss Steve Tew may attempt to convince Hansen to carry on but he is a hard man to argue with at the best of times.

The All Blacks is the first team to win three World Cups, and the first to win consecutive titles.

The All Blacks beat the Wallabies 34 - 17 in the 2015 Rugby World Cup final.
