Sonny Bill Williams latest boxing win has ended in controversy.

The former All Black has beaten South African veteran Francois Botha in a point’s decision in what was billed as a 12 round fight.

However, the referee stopped the fight after 10 rounds.

While Williams deserved the point’s victory for the majority of the fight, he was on the ropes in the final round when Botha landed a couple of heavy blows, leaving him slightly dazed.

The win extends Williams' career to an unbeaten six wins from his six professional fights.

Wallabies and Reds first five Quade Cooper has scored a knockout win in the first round in his debut fight.
