Sonny Bill Williams has declared himself refreshed and ready to play rugby union again.
He has trained with Counties-Manukau for the first time, little over a week after completing his second stint in the NRL.
Williams is unsure whether he will start or come off the bench in tomorrow’s ITM Cup match against Auckland.
Williams said playing rugby feels like second nature this time around, and that today’s training was a good refresher.
Auckland coach Paul Feeney is expecting Williams to come off the bench in tomorrow’s ITM Cup match.
Counties Manukau will take on Auckland at 6.35pm tomorrow.
