While many people in the Western and Northern Division said that they were not prepared for the flood, the manager of Ashwin Enterprises in Labasa said otherwise.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Ashwin Rajesh Chand said most of the business communities were prepared to face the worst.
Chand said some residents of Labasa did adhere to the warning of flooding and were well prepared.
He added that some shop owners had shifted their stocks to a higher place.
