Some parts of Sigatoka have been without water for almost a week and many are resorting to using the river and nearby creeks to get their daily chores done.
James Bali said right now they do not have any water and is calling on authorities to look into the problem, as water is a necessity and people are finding it hard to cope.
Bali said he feels sorry for the women and children as they have to go to great lengths to get water.
