Some Flying Fijians senior management to be removed
The confirmation came from the FRU board after last night’s meeting where some drastic measures will now take place in the Rugby House.
The FRU board has agreed in removing some senior management after the recommendation of the World Cup review committee.
It is still unclear on who all will be told to go as the FRU board is yet to inform them on this decision.
Major points highlighted in the inquiry included changes in the selectors, management team to be vacant and salaries of FRU staff to be reviewed.
Also they have identified some players from the Rugby World Cup squad who did not abide by their contracts while in New Zealand.
These players who went out to night clubs will face the consequences with their final payment of $15,000 dollars to be deducted.
Another interesting call from the board is that all posts within FRU will be advertised while those working at the moment can reapply for their job if they wish to.
The position of the FRU CEO will now be appointed in January.
