Some Fiji 7s players expected to be rested for Marist 7s

Some Vodafone Fiji 7s players are expected to be rested for this year’s Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Team Manager Ropate Kauvesi said these players will be rested due to their workload during the 7s series.

Kauvesi said they will be meeting with Ben Ryan to decide which players will be rested.

He said their meeting will also determine if they will field a team at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Meanwhile the Fiji Bitter Marist 7's will be held next Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.

Wardens Gold is the defending champion after beating Police 15‑12 in last year’s final.
