Solomon Islands bid to host the 2015 South Pacific Games have been submitted to the Pacific Games Council before the deadline on 27th March.

Chief executive officer of the Solomon Islands Sports Council David Firisua confirmed that the work has been completed and Solomon Islands bid documents has been submitted according to the Pacific Games Charter before the due date.

Firisua said from information gathered, Solomon Islands and two other countries have submitted their bid documents for the right to host the 2015 SPG.

At this stage Solomon Islands are bidding against Papua New Guinea, Tonga and Vanuatu.
