The Solomon Island Government is expected to open up a High Commission Office in Fiji within the next few months.
Solomon Island Under Secretary of the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs, Seda Fifi'i told Radio Australia that extra funding from the government has made a way for them to move forward to establish the office in Suva.
He also said that with the opening of the office it will not only bring the Government and the people closer but also the major donor agencies in Suva.
