A 21 year old Soldier will appear in the Nausori Magistrate Court tomorrow morning for the alleged murder of a farmer whose body was found in Nausori Town on Thursday.

Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokumri has confirmed the man has been charged with one count of murder and is in Police custody.

Post mortem revealed that Tevita Moce died of brain hemorrhage. It is alleged the Soldier punched the deceased while he returning from a nightclub.

Meanwhile, Sigatoka Police are still questioning two people who are alleged to have been involved in the brutal killing of Cuvu taxi driver Mohammad Nasir.

According to police the two were arrested after extensive police investigations and are expected to be charged soon.

It is alleged the two hired the taxi and upon reaching Cuvu they stabbed the driver to death. There were some visible stab wounds on Nasir.

It is then alleged the two drove the taxi and abandoned it about five kilometres away from where they left Mohammad Nasir's body.
