A 21 year old Solider appeared in the Nausori Magistrate Court this morning charged with the alleged murder of a Tailevu farmer last Wednesday.

Keasi Kalou who is charged with one count of murder was not asked for plea today as he asked the Court to seek legal advice.

Police Prosecutor, Inspector Subhan Ali than asked Court if Kalou could be remanded in custody due to the seriousness of the case.

Magistrate Vani Ravono remanded Kalou in custody and also told him to make an application to seek legal advice while in custody.

Magistrate Ravono has adjourned the case to next Wednesday when he will make a decision on bail application and in the case is to be transfered to the High Court.

Kalou is alleged to have murdered Tevita Moce outside a nightclub in Nausori last Wednesday.
