Social Welfare Staff are working overtime to ensure that those under the Social Welfare Scheme receive their payments on time.
This is the view of Interim Social Welfare Minister, Adi Laufitu Malani who adds that it is normal practice for payments to be done at the beginning of every month.
However, Malani adds that the actual time for payments to be received will be determined by the mode of payment chosen by the recipients.
This comes after concerns about payments received either before of after New Year's Day which is a public holiday.
