The national soccer team could have a new coach soon with the Fiji Football Association now assessing the performance of current national coach Yogendra Dutt.
The national squad for next year’s Pacific Games was announced on Friday with confirmation that training will start in two weeks time.
However, Fijivillage has managed to establish that Fiji FA wants a change at the top coaching level.
Fiji FA President Dr Samsud Dean Sahu Khan said he will discuss with his board members if there is a need to change the national coach.
Yogendra Dutt, who is a former Ba soccer coach, was appointed as the national soccer coach mid this year.
When contacted, Dutt stated he is unaware of the issue as he has not been contacted by any Fiji FA official.
