Around 100 regional soccer administrators, player associations, referees, soccer club owners, government agencies and police officials are attending a two day conference in Nadi to raise awareness and understand the threat to football posed by match fixing.
 
According to Fiji Football Association, this meeting will identify the strategies used by match fixers, the methods used to recognize, resist and report them and sharing best practices in protecting the integrity of sport.

Youth and Sports Minister Vilame Naupoto said at the meeting that the relevant sports stakeholders in Fiji are looking forward to the outcome and recommendations of this conference.

The INTERPOL Integrity in Sport FIFA conference is co-hosted by the Oceania Football Confederation, the Fiji Football Association and the Fiji Police Force.
