Tailevu Naitasiri soccer team officials, a player and Tavua Team Coach have been charged and dealt with by the Fiji Football Association disciplinary committee.

President Sandeep Roy has been banned from all levels of soccer for 18 months and fined $1,500.

The Tailevu Naitasiri team has also been fined $500 while their player David Shankar is fined $2,000 and suspended from all levels of soccer for two years.

Tavua Soccer Coach Shalen Roy has been suspended from all levels of soccer for two years and fined $2,500.

The group was charged for misconduct during a Fiji FA sanctioned Tailevu Naitasiri vs Savusavu match which was held last month at Ratu Cakobau Park.

They made unfolding and baseless allegations against the Chairman of Referees Committee for bribing referees and using foul and abusive language after the Tailevu Naitasiri lost 3-2 in the playoffs.
