The Fiji Football Association could move the National Soccer League official opening to Friday instead of Sunday.
The official opening will be held at Churchill Park before the Lautoka and Nadi opener, as the Blues are the reigning champions.
It was scheduled for Sunday but the new sponsors and Fiji FA President Dr Samsud Dean Sahu Khan will not be available on Sunday due to other commitments.
The Fiji FA will also this afternoon launch the National Soccer League competition with new sponsors on board.
In this week's competition Lautoka will meet Nadi, Ba will host Nadroga, Rewa take on Suva, Nasinu meet Tavua and Navua travel to the North to take on Labasa.
