Soccer fever has hit Labasa as the friendly North gets ready to host the first round of Inkk Mobile BOG next month.
It has been a long time coming for the Northerners as Subrail Park last hosted a major tournament in 2002.
We spoke to some die hard Labasa soccer fans who are now counting down the days for the big day.
Meanwhile, the business community of Labasa is also excited.
Labasa Chamber of Commerce President, Ashok Karan said that activity in Labasa will increase next month and this will also compliment the crushing season in the Northern Division.
The first round of matches will be played on the 22nd of next month.
