The Fiji soccer team will not leave for New Zealand on Monday as said before by the team management.

The officials and players are yet to get the visa from the New Zealand Immigration and are hopeful that everything might be sorted out by next Tuesday.

The Fiji soccer team wanted to jet-out on Monday and have few training runs in New Zealand for the match on Saturday, against the New Zealand All Whites.

Fiji soccer officials tried to get the visa by yesterday but were unsuccessful.

Association President Doctor Samsud Dean Sahu Khan said he will release a statement on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it is understood that next week's World Cup soccer qualifying match between the two sides is likely to be called off and played next year.
