The Fiji Under 20 soccer team has been granted transit visas by the New Zealand Immigration to travel to Tahiti for the Oceania Under 20 soccer playoffs.

New Zealand Immigration had earlier refused to grant the transit visas saying the rejection is part of the sanctions imposed by the New Zealand government following the military takeover in 2006.

The National Soccer Team chairman Rajesh Patel said with the help of Oceania Football Confederation, they managed to get the transit visas.
