Brumbies rugby coach Jake White has confirmed that George Smith will be in the starting side for their Super Rugby qualifying final against the Cheetahs this Sunday.

Smith was benched for the Brumbies final regular season match against the Western Force last weekend and only managed 30 minutes for the Canberra franchise.

White refused to reveal all of the changes he plans to make to his starting lineup but did say that Smith would start.

The Brumbies will host the Cheetahs at 6.10pm Sunday while the Crusaders meet the Reds at 7.35pm Saturday.
