Conrad Smith has sold former All Blacks and Hurricanes team‑mate Ma'a Nonu a massive dummy to score a try in the French Top 14, but it was his old midfield partner who had the last laugh.
Nonu's star‑studded Toulon side ran out 21‑17 victors in the end yesterday over Smith's Pau team in the pair's first on‑field meeting since winning the Rugby World Cup final.
Although Nonu finished on the right side of the ledger, he was left embarrassed when Smith sold him a dummy to score a try in the second half.
