The young half back combination of Aaron Smith and Aaron Cruden have been given the nod to start in tomorrow's All Blacks Test against France.

The pair who have sharpened their skills together at provincial level will start their fifth Test together, with Dan Carter injured and a cautious approach taken to Piri Weepu's concussion.

The All Blacks team will be captained by number eight Kieran Read.

Looking at the French side, experienced number fly half, Frederic Michalak has been dropped to the bench and uncapped first five eighth Camille Lopez will start.

Meanwhile Fijian flyer Noa Nakaitaci is not included in the first test match line up.

The All Blacks and France match kicks off at 7.35pm tomorrow at Eden Park.
