All Blacks second five eight Conrad Smith and Dane Coles are set to bolster the Hurricanes in Canberra on Friday as they chase a Super Rugby playoff.

Smith is likely to start at centre against the Brumbies after getting through full contact training last week without any symptoms of the concussion he suffered in Pretoria three weeks ago.

Meanwhile, hooker Coles has been given a medical clearance and will be available for the first time since fracturing his cheekbone against the Force on April 19th.

The Brumbies will host the Hurricanes at 9.40pm this Friday while the Crusaders will meet the Waratahs at 7.35pm.
