It is still not known when the Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Stephen Smith will arrive in the country to analyze Fiji's situation.
The Australian High Commission has refused to comment on exactly when Smith is expected to arrive in the country with a ministerial contact group.
It was reported last month that the Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Smith, as well as his counterpart from New Zealand, Winston Peters would arrive into Fiji sometime this month with a ministerial group to analyze Fiji's situation regarding a Forum set up, as well as the path to democratic elections for March 2009.
The New Zealand High Commission is also expected to comment later today.
