Two of the world's best fullbacks Ben Smith and Israel Folau go head to head in Sydney as the Highlanders clash with the Waratahs tonight.
Each of them is brilliant under the high ball, solid defensively, and so lethal when the ball is in their hands.
With around a 6cm and 10kg advantage, Folau is naturally different to Smith in the fact he has size on his side to bump off defenders and power through even the most structured defensive lines, along with being a threat for the cross‑kick.
Smith will use his nippy feet and then put down the accelerator to return the ball with interest, while his game awareness ‑ like when to kick and when to run ‑ is what makes him such a complete player.
Both play such an important role for their team and can inspire their mates with the things they do.
The Waratahs will host the Highlanders at 8.40 tonight.
Meanwhile the Hurricanes will face the Force at 6.35pm
