Sleep in the police cell this Christmas weekend if you drink and drive.
That is the stern message to drivers from the Fiji Police Force.
Director of Traffic, Mahesh Mishra said they want to have an Accident Free Festive Season and drivers should ensure that they follow the road rules this Christmas.
Mishra said a lot of lives have been lost and many people are bedridden and disabled due to road accidents.
He said drivers should be mindful of this.
