Former Crusaders star Colin Slade will make his Highlanders debut at first five eighth against the Brumbies after he was named in the starting lineup.

Slade was one of the Highlanders major signings for the off season but injured his jaw in the Highlanders first pre season trial match of the year.

He replaces Robbie Robinson in the starting lineup while reserve number 10 Tony Brown retains his spot on the bench.

In other changes to the team All Black Tom Donnelly returns to the starting while Kade Poki who starred against the Bulls returns to the starting lineup.

Tommorrow, the Highlanders take on the Brumbies at 6.35pm while the Waratahs meet the Chiefs at 8.40pm.
