Colin Slade is the All Blacks first choice first five at this stage.

Coach Graham Henry said Slade is under scrutiny following the injury that put Dan Carter out of the tournament.

Slade had a solid game in their 79-15 victory over Canada in their final Rugby World Cup pool match in Wellington, although he was not under a lot of pressure defensively.

Speaking to Radio Australia Henry said Slade played pretty well and he just needs more game time.
